it only rains
when the trains

Does Anyone Want To 'Set Up' A Website For Me?

I think if someone wanted to set up a Wordpress website for me with the web address 'Ben Myers' or something I could crawl around my office on my hands and knees and put whatever I find into a big padded envelope. Watermarked promo CDs that you won't be able to sell, books you'll never read, some half-chewed pigs ears, maybe a rusty mouth organ, some used ink cartridges, a C90 cassette featuring a telephone interview with a very average American indie rock band etc

I was born in 1976 so can't be bothered to do it myself.

But I own the domain

Do people still own domains?

'Apply within'.

Two Documentaries

I've been going through an old documentary phase this week, so have been watching this, a 1973 BBC documentary about English Hells' Angels, and this 1971 documentary about a Sussex wood-dwelling family.

'The journalism side of things'

I've been working on the journalism side of writing.
Reviews, features etc.

Here is an article on the influence of the pop band Talk Talk.

And here is one about the burgeoning musical career of
Michel Houellebecq.

Both for The Guardian.

Now playing: Elastica by Elastic
About to start reading: Tenderloin by John Butler.
